Shootz is a two-player strategy game with a 39-card deck. Each card has a unique number from 1 to 39.
Setup:
1. Shuffle the 39-card deck thoroughly.
2. Deal 13 cards to each player, leaving 13 cards in a draw pile.
Gameplay:
1. Players take turns, starting with the player who draws the highest card from the draw pile.
2. On your turn, draw a card from the draw pile.
3. Play a card from your hand by placing it face-up in front of you.
4. The goal is to create sets of three consecutive numbers (e.g., 5, 6, 7) or three numbers that sum to 39 (e.g., 10, 14, 15).
5. Each set scores points equal to the highest number in the set.
6. After playing a card, discard one card from your hand face-down to a discard pile.
7. The turn then passes to the other player.
Ending the Game:
1. The game ends when the draw pile is empty and players cannot form any more sets.
2. Players add up the points from their sets.
3. The player with the highest total score wins.
Additional Rules:
- If you cannot play a card to form a set, you must still discard one card.
- Keep an eye on the cards your opponent discards to plan your strategy.
- You can only form sets with the cards in your hand and the cards you draw on your turn.
Winning:
- The player with the highest score from their sets of cards wins the game.
